I have been -temporarily- enlightened by a book I’ve been reading, the Details men’s style manual. I’m not really into self-help bullshit but I think this book really helped out on a lot of things, like fashion mistakes and wardrobe OC-fying. Yep, I was guilty of the havaianas-and-jeans combo.

Fuck aging your shirts and giving them as vintage hand-me-downs 10 years later. I know us Filipinos tend to believe in the notion of being ‘thrifty’ but it’s usually viewed in the wrong-est perspective (excuse my English). I donated all of my old clothes, around half of my closet. Or probably more - around 50+ shirts and 10 pairs of pants.

My former ensemble was composed of ‘pa-cool’ stuff. I must be getting old, but I now balance my clothes 50-50. 50% comprised of formal dandy stuff, and 50% for streetwear/trendy clothes. There goes my money.
