At least for the end of the week.

Today has definitely got to be one of my ‘better’ days of summer. I went to Ateneo to fix my enlistment and the AISM officership interviews and got to see a lot of people I was hoping to see. First was Victor with his brand new ‘wife’ 2.0ghz white Macbook. Stayed there for an hour catching up with what’s happening with MISA, my other org and it seems that everyone’s doing well. I haven’t seen any of the MIS guys since…last day of classes so I’m hoping to catch up with them soon.

Second is Matteo Ricci. While I was on the way, I bumped into one of my co-officers Jam and had some catching up as well. AISM, well, more catching up. I really like the chemistry of the newly elected officers because everyone seems to really have everything and all in for the new org and its final passing for accreditation. Our president Noj is at his top game as well.

Then Blockdo at the ‘new’ SOM mall. Wow. Everyone’s designing for somebody else this summer. Lots of kwento, and my hyperness began. I never usually go ‘hyper hyper energizer bunny hyper’ but for some reason I was really happy seeing them (as much as seeing Victor and AISM). I saw ‘dead’ people Yani and Gee-yow too - whom I haven’t seen in quite a while. YANI YOU’RE SO HAWT haha. Design talk here and there. My cousin/classmate Earl just got his new job as a designer for a good advertising/web design firm locally.  Gio got an ear piercing earlier than me. I want to pierce my ears or get a tattoo really now. Tagal na dapat eh.

Then I ran back to Matteo for my officership interview and I was shocked that I was promoted to Vice President for Creatives instead of the supposed AVP/PD position. Now I really have a big responsibility to play and I do hope I can succeed in that role. Finally on the way home, I saw RJ and catched up with him as well. Amazing how the world seems to come into place at one single day getting to see and talk to people who really matter to me.

(Okay that’s so ’senti’. Not emo at all. This is progress!)

I feel totally refreshed after having weeks and weeks of my summer only locking myself up working for opportunities and money and productivity. I finally got the break I deserve.. Thanks everyone for really, really, really making my day brighter. I guess it’s about time I wrote something for myself this time. Maybe I’ll get myself some Rancho Santa Fe Homes for Sale when I retire or when I have the money and invite everyone in there.
